Currently enrolled in George Washington University's (DNP-PMHNP) program. Studying to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Mental health is an underserved sector and I want to improve nursing care in Psychiatry, specifically in communities that lack access to healthcare.
I am a Nursing Coordinator for the Well-Mobile Unit in Anne Arundel County, MD. Specializing in treating patients with opioid addiction and coordinating treatment with Doctors. Oversee treatment for patients from intake through program completion. In addition, worked as a Nursing Clinical Instructor for Anne Arundel Community College. Instructed students to the highest standards with my top students consistently nominated for awards every semester upon completion of the program.
I am was born and raised in my hometown Guangxi, China. Majority of my family still lives there and after graduating college that is where I started my nurse career. I later relocated to Annapolis, MD and have lived in the area since 2009. When I am not working as a full-time nurse for Anne Arundel County and attending classes at George Washington University, I enjoy spending time with my two sons and husband.
